RESPONSIBLE ADVOCACY
Estate Planning
What does it take to create a prudent estate plan? First, make the plan - because so many of us do not have one. Second, update your existing plan that perhaps is out of date. I bring my knowledge as a Certified Financial Planner to the legal aspects of estate planning and my goal is to uncomplicate the process. That process calls for thoughtful understanding of your goals. Your estate plan should be uniquely created to further your goals - whether its preserving your heritage, or an orderly distribution of your assets to your heirs, permitting them to avoid the Probate Court Process entirely, or planning for long-term care. I've formerly held FINRA Series 7, 66 and Principal Series 24 securities licenses, thus prospectus and investment reports, and financial and accounting statements are all familiar territory.
Tax Planning
What does it take to create an efficient estate plan? To help protect what you have earned through your hard work and sacrifice, it requires careful consideration of the tax implications. We advise, represent, and prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, trusts and other entities with tax reporting requirements. The most efficient estate plan is developed after scrutinizing the impact of taxes. My job is complete when minimizing state and federal taxes in anticipation of a smooth transfer of wealth to the next generation.
