Lyn A. Parker, Esq., CFP®, EA
I grew up in Newburyport, MA. To me, the best place on earth is the stretch of coastline along the northeast corner of Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire - a place I call home. I graduated from Newburyport High School. Thereafter I earned my bachelors degree in Communication, magna cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire, obtained an advanced certificate of financial planning from Merrimack College, and Juris Doctor from Massachusetts School of Law. I'm admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Hampshire.

As a Certified Financial Planner® and Enrolled Agent, Enrolled to Practice before the Internal Revenue Services, I understand how to incorporate financial and tax best practices into my client's legal strategy. Formerly, I held FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations, as well as FINRA Series 24 Principal registration.

I teach Legal Writing, Reasoning and Oral Advocacy to students as an adjunct professor at the Massachusetts School of Law, and enjoy volunteering as judge at the Mass Bar Association high school mock trial competitions.

Finally, I believe that the best communities have dedicated people committed to the greater good. I've served as a board member of a private charitable organization, the Newburyport Society for the Relief of Aged Women, and as a Trustee of the North Reading Flint Memorial Library. Currently, as a first responder for the National Ski Patrol, you'll find me happily performing my weekly volunteer patrolling duties on the slopes at Nashoba Valley during the winter months.
